    Default Celebration Day Shave

    Thursday evening
    Hot water prep
My kit: Bartmann razor - New Forest badger brush - TOBS Sandalwood cream
My Friend's kit: Blasberg razor - generic silvertip badger - Maca root cream
After (both): - cold water splash - Thayer's witch hazel rose re-splash - Proraso green tea & oat balm - Lorenzo's Piper Nigrum EdT

A great shave for both of us, who started with Straight razor shaving three years ago this month.
It has been a fine journey and I hope we'll have more chances like this to celebrate.

    :-)
Both BBS and both completely different techniques, due to different hair growth.
    Enjoy folks!

    WOW!

From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place

    Friday

Razor | Burrell Top Flight | Cream | Body Shop Macca Root | After Shave | Myrosol Aqua de Limón

Bloody Burrell bloody cut me this morning, it did. I was doing an against the grain pass with a buffing motion and before I knew it I was sticking a piece of tissue to my face like Norman Bloody Gunston (see below).

I also want to share a photo of my grandson Bailey on his first train trip to the Oncology department. Everything's still good with him 22 months after they removed the tumor in his arm (along with his humerus), and I thank God for that, in really, really do...
