From their stillness came their non-action...Doing-nothing was accompanied by the feeling of satisfaction, anxieties and troubles find no place

    Monday

VERY close result after using the W&B Special. I did refresh the edge on the Shapton 16k (only 15 passes) yesterday. I also 'resurfaced' my bathroom (i.e. tatty) strop by using sandpaper. SWMBO uses hair spray; and the strop actually had a layer of the gunk on it! The draw is now much improved.

BTW, it was remembrance Day here today. I got a little emotional as they played The Last Post, not because I saw any action or whatever during my ten years in the army, but because of those I've trained or known. We shall remember them, but if only there were no more to follow...

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Hmmm. Cedarwood and Black Pepper. I have the Cedarwood and after a 'false start' I'm really liking his soap now, esp mixed with Tabac cream. How peppery is it?

I think as men we often link our shaves to our fathers. My memories are always Old Spice, an interesting looking DE razor in the bathroom cabinet, and Saturday afternoon my dad sitting reading the paper after mowing the lawns, newly shaved, and all brylcreamed up.

My father is still with me, and to be honest, I'm not sure I'll miss him that much when he's gone. I'm glad you miss your father; I hope my kids will miss me. I hope I'm communicating this right.

    Hi Carl,
the characteristic smell is Orange. Cedarwood and Black Pepper are added ingredients.
I would say that the pepper is perceived as a note and gives the orange a little sharpness.

    Face Lather
    Neil Miller-2.5" Latigo Leather
