Nice pictures. The razors look great and an interesting story. I also like the brush you used, but I love that old scuttle. I would like to find one like that.

The Day? A partly sunny and mild 30ºF / -1ºC. The Shave? A quickie and a good one at that! The European Palmolive makes up a smooth lather that has a decent amount of glide. The razor is one of the myriads of razors made with just a name for sale wherever that name might catch on. Be that as it may, this little razor is of good hard steel. The splash is herbal and mild.

Did 40-50 passes on the Zulu before stropping. Got a great, buttery edge and a comfortable shave. Drew blood for the first time in ages, though, after wandering up to an unstretched portion of the cheek.
