Great shave in 3 passes, need to hit the pasted strop for a few passes though. The SCS Sandalwood and Floris Santal layer well together.

    5 days' growth

No prep (this is becoming a habit )
B&B Finest Ebony (such a photo whore, decided the black would look better)
    Vintage Clydesdale Shell strop
    H&J Special
    Trumper's Violet soap
    Trumper's alum
    Trupmer's LSF

This razor was purchased to be a no-frills (etchings, etc.) but a bit unique daily user.

Bought it shave-ready but it needed some fine-tuning. 30 very light laps on Coticule + 60 CrO2, 30 linen, 60 leather - very nice 10/10 performance. Too bad I was expecting 10+/10. Will hit the hone again - hopefully I can get it there. Otherwise it will just be a great shaver, just not as great as my current Top 3.

The strop is very nice, I seem to prefer it to the DD Russian

    Very good shave

    Cheers

    Bartman 7/8
    B&B finest
    Honeybee sandalwood
    Alum
    Musgo Real AS splash
    C&E Sandalwood ASB

I touched this razor up on an Austria "Apart" hone and got a great shave.

While some people have complained about the Bartman razors being prone to microchipping, I've not had this problem (however, the finish on the jimps is pretty lousy). I got a great shave from this baby and the shaves keep getting better.
