Proraso preshave mentholated balm.
Super microfroth lather with Mitchell's Wool Fat soap and the big Omega boar brush.
Three passes with a decorative Wester Bros. "Manganese Steel" 5/8 fresh off 10 laps of CrOx and 50 more on leather.
Cold water rinse.
Witch hazel/aloe/lemon homebrew.
A serious dose of Cat o' Nine Tails - Feel the Burn (I didn't) clove-scented after shave.
Very smooth - very nice. Damn near perfect.
No nicks, no drips, no errors.

Yes, this hobby is exciting in the range of razors you can find that you are really drawn to. From my large W&B's to these framebacks, I like them both equally. I have several vintage Thiers-Issard framebacks that are superb, as well as another French frameback with a #19 on the blade, as well as this JE. My W&B frameback, is being restored as we speak, and hopefully, that will combine the best of both worlds for me.
Looking forward to seeing your Lecoultre, NOS nonetheless, in a future SOTD!
