It's different - doesn't have the burn reward of other traditional AS. But it's not completely devoid of it like a balm or alcohol free AS.
It's a bit of a let down when I splash it on (as I like some burn). But it does seem to take care of my skin in the hours after - not even a bit of dryness and it does tighten and brighten things up. I would tend to think that it is an overall very healthy choice for the skin...The scent is definitely hit or miss depending on the person but doesn't stick around long.
It's my first bottle of it, I'm leaning towards getting another. Only negative for me is the lack of a nice kick when applying.

I not only like it I love it! The barber's concentration is so focused and intense. And do love how he is holding his client in place.

Thoughts, prayers and best wishes headed your way for Bailey's good health. The strength of the human spirit in the face of adversity never ceases to amaze me!

    Pre-Shave - Neutrogena face bar
    Brush - Vulfix bristle
    Soap - Arko
Razor - Hedengran & Son frameback

I've been growing a beard, and so I haven't been shaving as much but I still keep up with the SotD thread. Only neck shaves for awhile, but I still prefer a straight razor to shave my lines and keep things clean. This piece of Swedish steel is very interesting, because the frame, blade, and tang are all separate parts and it can be broken down in that way. It is supposed to be pinned at the tang but I put a tiny machine screw in there so I can make sure it all gets dry after use. It gave me a good shave, even if it is a bit of a contraption
