Thanked: 1185Couldn't agree more. My face isn't pretty enough to stand on its own without some decoration (or cover). Along that line, I plan a three month sabatical from shaving starting the first of October so by the first of the year I should look something like this (except I won't have a full head of hair, that's been impossible for about the last 25 years):

Pinaud's Clubman AfterShave Splash
I haven't used this little razor in some time, but the renewed friendship was no less rewarding. The Scrupleworks strop brings the freshened Thuringian edge up very nicely, and the draw is exactly to my liking.
I must admit to being a fan of badger brushes, and every time I reach for a brush, I notice the boar examples sitting (standing?) forlornley ... So today it's a boar. It will probably only serve to reinforce my preference for badger, but .. there it is.
The raw stone pictured came to me from the area of the old Llyn Idwal mine in North Wales. Whether or not it is the same stone as used in the whetstones I do not know, and I suppose it doesn't really matter ... It still holds a place near and dear to my heart ...
