Belated Sunday, Monday and Thursday post...
    Sunday
    Hot water prep
RAF razor "The Bastard" - TOBS lavender cream - generic badger brush - Scrupleworks horween strop - cold water splash - Calani scentless balm - Still Life from Olfactive Studio's EdT

Have been travelling to Nizhny Novgorod, Russia this week, so no time to post anything. Thus a couple of belated shaves. Hope you gents still appreciate them. The Olfactive Studio's is a new one in the house. It was actually a present for the wife, but it fits both men and women. I liked it.

    Monday
    No prep
Dorco plastic DE razor with Dorco blade - El Cheapo boar brush - El Cheapo ARKO cream - cold water splash - No EdT

Aeroflot lost my luggage on the flight from Moscow to Nizhny, so me and my colleague had to improvise. We went to the local shopping mall Fantastika and into the megastore Ashan to buy some cheapo gear. This total set did not cost more than 6 dollars, lol. The brush: awful. shedding hairs like crazy; the "razor": awful, the blade? Well, I'm proud to say that just about All my straights are sharper than this blade. The cream was alright. A bit difficult to lather properly with the boar brush, but I'll give it a second chance with one of my badgers. Here goes: my cheapest shave ever...

    Thursday
    Hot water prep
Volcan 14 razor - generic badger brush - Truefitt & Hill Sandalwood cream - Scrupleworks Swedish bridle strop - Coticule and Llyn Idwal hones - cold water splash - Proraso green tea & oat balm - hot towel - Piper Nigrum AdC

Ah, the shear joy of being back with my own gear and a new horse in the stable. Directly put it to the hones and gave it my edge. The shave was as expected of any 14: flawless. I've owned quite a few over these years and whether they be Henckels, Fillys, Palmera's or whatever, you can't go wrong with these blades. They all hone up really well and give fantastic shaves.
Weekend is around the corner. Have a great one gents!

    7/8 Friodur
    Proraso Red
    homemade badger
This pic might indicate I'm color blind. I'm not I just have poor taste. Great shave, I've never been a big fan of Proraso but I really enjoy the scent of the Red. Have a good one.
