Saved by Mastro Livi Travel Loom Strop
This morning I found out this Dovo Bismarck was pulling a little and it was not so comfortable. After all, I honed this razor the day I received it as a gift and - although they said it was sold as shave ready - it truly needed proper honing. It was about one year ago. When I am traveling I always bring with me my lovely Mastro Livi Travel Loom Strop which perfectly fits in my bag. All I needed to do was to spread Mastro Livi chromium oxide stick on the loom strop, do about ten laps on the razor and this gave me a very good and sharp edge. Ready to shave!
- Pre-Shave: Proraso Pre-Shave Green

- Bowl: Chinese Cheap Bowl
- Strop: Mastro Livi Travel Loom Strop and Hand Palm Stropping
- Razor: Dovo 2Bismarck Pearl, 6/8 Full Hollow, Round point
- Post-Shave: Umbrian Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- After Shave: Floïd The Genuine After Shave

The factory edge seemed likely on this NOS from the 60's. Some CroOx, a pile of leather confirmed.
