Prep: Shower and Pacific Shaving Pre Shave Oil
Razor: Gem Micromatic
Blade: Pella GEM PTFE coated
Brush: Semogue 2013 Special Edition Silvertip Badger
Soap/cream: Cyril R Salter French Vetiver
Post: Castle Forbes Sandalwood
AAR: I was only aiming for a comfortable shave, and ended up BBS, because I haven't used the closed comb Micromatic in a long time and underestimated it. it ended up being a wonderfully close shave, but at the cost of a tiny bit of irritation, which the Castle Forbes after shave helped with. The Salter creams are always top performers, and the 2013 Special Edition brush is delightfully soft and full, with amazing backbone for a badger.

Thanked: 146Proraso pre-post creamSecond shave with this gorgeous Japanese razor. I shaved with this yesterday and normally I can do 3 passes daily. Today, I debated and ended up doing a 1 pass multi-directional shave that left me beyond BBS. I think this razor will be a keeper...lol!
