You know, I'm going to take a little shortcut here on hitting the Like on SOTD. This is one of my favorite pieces of real estate on SRP and I Like all of the posts and never get tired of looking at razors and accoutrements. So virtually I am hitting the Like for everyone who takes the time to share their gear. Thank-you gents.

Tuesday SOTD
First Non Swedish Steel shave in months.......... Binge lathering with C.O. Bigelow (Proraso) shaving cream for the second half of September after a couple weeks plus of TABAC binge. Chasing that true Italian Barbershop flavor I presume. My razor of choice today is a replacement from one that was my second straight razor ever acquired back in 2008 and traded to member RayG for a Thiers Issard. I regretted the choice almost immediately and have sort of searched on and off over the past 6 years for a replacement. Found an affordable Puma 89 to render my search complete from a shave forum member of high standing with nice restored straights. It arrived yesterday and with its original Puma case, the faux wood one...My original Puma 89 had the pasteboard box coffin, I suspect an earlier model. This one is heftier but I suspect not as hollow as my first. Nonetheless, a wonderful shave from this three pin scaled 13/16 Made from Best Puma Steel.
