Great shave this morning with:
Razor - 5/8 Case Temperite - Scales by Traveler
Brush - Antique Restore - 24mm knot
Soap - Floris Santal
Alum - Generic brand.
AS - Mama Bear - Bay Rum
The razor has slot #10 in my Display Rack of Excellence and scores a 9.8. Soap is nice and creamy and slick. Bay Rum AS is long lasting. bjDon't go to the light. bj

Razor – Fred Dolle & Mitsuon 4/8s
Brush – Semouge custom badger
Soap – Valobra
AS – ALUM OSMA Bloc & GFT Coral skin food & Rose 31
After testing these edges both are equal in performance. If I had to guess about the Fred Dolle, I would say it is Boker steel. The little razors are awesome smooth shavers. Stay clean shaved!
