Tonight's shave I'm taking a new soap for a test drive. It's actually my second time using it, trying a boar with it this time. This soap is made by our very own, Trimmy. After the first shave I was pleasantly surprised, it's great stuff!

7/8 Custom M. Waterhouse, 1/2 Hollow Ground, Square Point
    Kanayama No.3 Strop
    Romera Briar Rustic Chubby Manchurian
    Meißner Tremonia Dark Limes Soap
    Pitralon Classic AS

First use of the Meißer Dark Limes, this morning, and I don't understand the hype. The peg in the pic was intended for fun. I love Lime scent and thoroughly enjoy Mike's and Mystic Water Lime soap. This scent is not pure Lime and out of the jar, not my cup of tea, at all. It does improve with lathering. I definitely need to use again as the lather obtained was thin and weak, despite heavy loading. Post shave feel was excellent.

I have bought the Pink Grapefruit scent, too, so I'll use tomorrow and see if I can improve on the lather quality obtained, today.
