Thanked: 485ANZAC day 2015
Why
When that bugle starts to blow
We all cry,
all of us.
But some of us don’t know why.
When The Ode is read
We all cry,
All of us.
But some of us don’t know why.
When the wreath is laid
We all cry,
All of us.
But some of us don’t know why.
Care for them.
Care for those who know why.
Why they cry.
PS Grazor said I should write a poem, so I knocked that up...Hope you like it.Last edited by carlmaloschneider; 04-25-2015 at 12:21 AM.
Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

My first shave of the day. What better way than in remembrance of the 100th anniversary of ANZAC Day.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Lest we forget.

This post commemorates the 100th anniversary of the landing of the combined Australian and New Zealand Army Corps (ANZAC) at Gallipoli on the 25th April 1915. My wife and I went to the local Dawn Service this morning and we were staggered by the attendance. Our little town has a population of round 6000 people and I reckon everyone of them was at this mornings service.
Razor: Bengall 8/8 round point.
Soap: Charismata's Cherry Tobacco
Brush: Simpson Best
Aftershave: Old Spice 1977 Silver Jubilee
LEST WE FORGET
