A 6/8 Ralf Aust with scalloped back and Spanish point in... ummm... old scales. Dwarfed by the world's largest brush, and an oversized bottle of some Meißner Tremonia aftershave. Meißner Tremonia Mint Ice Menthol for the win at 32°C in the shade. Feels like summer's here at last. And the aftershave has the scent to go with that.
For completeness's sake, the razor was previously honed on a large hybrid vintage Coticule, then stropped on Norwegian canvas by Scrupleworks, followed by the only strop you'll ever need, Straight Razor Design's English Bridle extra long. I was tempted, if only for a moment, to perform a strop progression across ten different strops. But decided against it.
