PRESHAVE: Face wash with soap and warm/hot water
RAZOR: 1956 Gillette Red Tip (B2)
BLADE: Gillette Silver Blue (3)
SOAP: B&M Latha
BOWL: VDH
BRUSH: Tweezerman Badger
POST: Rinse with warm/hot water to get soap off and then some cold water rinses/splashes and pat try.
Comments: The shave today was real good. The old Gillette Red Tip razor did good for the shave today. It has been quite awhile since I used it. It is kinda mild but with three passes, it gets the job done very well! Soap was real good! Just like the downsizing of soaps, I am also doing this with razors so this one isnt one of my favorites so not sure if it will stick around here! The lather was good and pretty slick, the protection and feel throughout the shave and the post shave feel is good too! I do have other soaps that I like better though and lets just say that I am on my way of downsizing soaps to just 5 total, I am not sure that this one will remain here! I don't have any complaints with the soap scent as it seems pretty mild post shave and hardly noticeable, which I prefer! I dont like too strong scented soaps! No irritation but gotta a weepers today.
Please feel free to leave comments on any items used as I enjoy reading them to see what others say about the gear I am using/trying out! Of course, YMMV!
Thx.
