Hot Shower
5/8 Joseph Allen spike
Tony Miller strop
Vulfix 374 silvertip
William's Mug soap
Pinaud Classic Clubman
Too me William's is a wonderful soap.
Though I don't use it all that often
I'm delighted with the results every
time that I do.
Same goes for the Pinaud.
Both are inexpensive and readily available.

Thanked: 346Mon:
Rooney small style 1 brush
Trumper's Almond soap
5/8 Koeller
Royall Lyme A/S
The Trumper's soap is odd. It smells like a combination of Amaretto & baby powder. It took a bit more work to lather though it worked really well, but the smell is a bit much to take that early in the morning. I may give it to the wife for her legs and pick up a cake of sandalwood instead. She's got quite a collection of english creams that I've donated to the cause, so maybe it's about time she learned how to lather a soap...
Edit: Oh, and VG shave.

Thanked: 9Wow Don -
you love the Wonderedge more than all the nice customs you have? I am very surprised and wonder why? Let me say that I wasn't taken with my Wonderedge (it was very nice, indeed - just not as nice as my top few; I still have to try a custom edge - soon, very soon)
my shave:
1 week's growth
Tabac ss
Plisson HMW 12 horn
Vintage Clydesdale strop
Moss scuttle
Thistle 6/8 or so "Damascus Blade" Hollow Spike - hideous faux bamboo scales (but I like them)
Trumper's alum
Trumper's CSF
Great shave! Thistle not a real Damascus blade, but a nice camel etch adds a light exotic touch. Very nice edge, 10 / 10 performer. Outsniped Bill Ellis on this one so I'm not that surprised, and I love the looks and feel.
Cheers
Ivo

i just shaved with a W&B I got off eBay after spending all night honing it up.
I hadn't shaved in a week just in anticipation of getting this thing sharp, and boy was it worth it! BBS and no nicks or cuts!
