oooofh. now. usually I don't like the aesthetics of Livi all that much. That razor however has changed my mind. More classically shaped, and really beautiful

Cheers Damo, I wanted my Livi to be more like me, nice and simple! Sometimes understated eloquence is all that is needed.

Got this Dovo in a package yesterday from Jonathan (Ultrasoundguy). This is the first modern made razor I've ever owned, and also the first I've shaved with as well. I must admit, the shave was far better than I expected, but that could be because of the JNat edge he put on it. It was very, very comfortable, and shave much like my other vintage round points. BUT.... this Saponificio Varesino 70th Ann. soap..... I don't like it.
It reminds me of my buddies cologne he use to bathe in before we hit the bar back in the day. Maybe it's the failure of picking up girls that's the sour taste I'm getting....

I must thank Jonathan for this lovely gift, it was very generous of him. Never did I ever expect to like a modern razor so much. What a great shaving blade!

    Bison made Horsehide
    Dovo pearl 5/8
    Semogue 1520
    Saponificio Varesino 70th Ann.
    Arbonne aftershave balm

That's too bad you didn't care for the scent, I haven't tryed that one but I was gifted by my good friend Roy(cudarunner)the Dolamiti and it is very clean and pleasing, plus makes a great lather with good after the shave skin healing. Tc. How did you like the lather?
