I learned something important today.
I donate plasma every Sunday and have to check in with no fresh wounds. You guessed it, I decided to shave with a square tip straight this morning. I nicked an earlobe and a cheek with the tip. After much hand wringing and an examination by an RN, I was cleared for donation and am posting this from the chair. Maybe I should do my straight shaves after donating [emoji1]

Shaving with a Snake

Not only the beauty of this straight razor is simply breathtaking, but also the performance in shaving is simply top notch. This Mastro Livi CarboInox Snake razor is very special and in many regards. The blade, first of all. This is a special CarboInox I wanted Mastro Livi to make for this razor and the middle layer is made of stainless steel with twisted carbon Damascus dots inlaid in the blade. The outer layers are made of a beautifully colored twisted damascus steel, made by Mastro Livi, of course. It is a genuine masterpiece made of CarboInox and a perfect shaver and I am very proud for having it in my collection!

Good on you for being a blood donor. I've done it nearly my entire adult life. Lately I do the ALYX machine... 2 units of red blood cells, and the rest of the components are returned. But, I can only donate 3 times a year.
There's nothing like the great feeling you get after helping someone in need!

Glad to hear there are other donors here. It is something I have been doing for nine years and is just part of my early Sunday mornings. Have fun!
