    Default The Casual Shave

Gave myself a nice, slow and very comfortable shave this evening with a razor that has shown less than stellar performance until tonight. This will be my 4th shave with this blade and it always gave me very bad burn on the neck. Tonight i ran it over the Crox, and took my sweet time with it. Very light pressure, kept my lather up and watched my blade angle. Ended up giving me a great, close shave with no burn. Technique is king in the land of straight razor shaving. I am its serf.

My love affair with cheap aftershaves continues.

Hang in there my wet shaving bros.

Just love that barbershop scent and can't go wrong with a Dorko razor.

Second run for the Tubby this week. With this soap it performed flawlessly. Nice thick creamy lather.
