    Gutenabend Rockabilly,
I never heard of the Rex Ekilstuna; is it a Heljastrand brand? From Sweden, for sure it's a Viking razor :-)

    Goedenavond Maarten,
Rex is an Eskilstuna Brand, in the Last Years there had been many NOS Ones on Ebay and other Places,
they share some similarities with the Heljestrand Razors that make me except that they had been made
by Heljestrand but actually no one knows it exactly if they had been made by Heljestrand. In my Opinion
especially the Heljestrand No.24 and the Rex quarter hollow in 5/8"/9/16" are nearly the same, but by all
similarities, i couldnt say that they are really one and the same.

    ---Saturday---
    Razor--Boker Silver Steel.
    Strop--SRD Premium 1.
Soap--Van der Cream-Soap concoction of Van der Hagen and Creamo.
    Mug--Cock and Bull.
    Brush--Semogue 830 Boar.
Aftershave--Alum block, 5 drops EVOO, and a dab of Mennen Afta.
Result--4 pass, super lather, no nicks, no cuts, and not a single nubbin left behind. A shower, clean underwear, and a shave sure makes a man feel like a KING! You all have a great evening and a great week ahead.

    Thanks for the info!
I really like my Heljestrand MK6, now I know I don't have to run away from a Rex!
