Thanked: 2284Tarnished Tuesday brings this Challenge Razor, with a cool etch of a rifle on the back. Blade is heavily warped and the only restore work I did on it was cleaned the rust off. Has a killer edge tho...Also thought I'd do a KISS shave with this one, as you can see by the rest of my gear this week.

Thanked: 2284Brush: Rexall Drug Store 1973 - Rode hard and put away wet, literally.
Rawleigh's Shaving Soap: Old and crumbly. I tried to rehydrate it with limited results
Junk travel strop. Not usable after a close inspection.
S.R. Droescher Blue Diamond Razor: Thick patina and soap scum but no rust. Amazing.
Old Spice AS and Cologne: Cologne is from 1974. Doesn't smell much like Old Spice.Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....

Yup - got a great laugh at the meet at Mikes!!! Colin was the one who said it'd shave...it's pretty sharp, sharper with some diamond and crox.....
Pretty sure it was designed that way, think it may have been a novelty razor....very well built, and did the neck slowly, other areas, used the heel and toe....but think it qualifies as tarnished...best $7.95 I spent (forget about the $20.00 shipping hahaha).

Hot Water Prep
Castle Forbes Lavender Shave Cream
Kent BK-4 Silvertip
EIKO YSK.2 Full Hollow
Scrupleworks Vegetable Tanned Horse .. 20/50
Bloc Osma
Thayers Witch Hazel
Pinaud's Clubman AfterShave Splash
A great shave with the new EIKO. Unusual for me, finished on a full synthetic progression, ending with the G20K. Much smoother than I had expected ... Perhaps the Gokumyo is everything they say it is?
Used the "Gold Standard" of Shave Creams, Castle Forbes, well deserving of it's reputation...
Simply superb!!
