Cape Town rocks as far as I'm concerned. Have been to Joburg, Pretoria and Durban, but CT does it for me.

I also agree SA is a beautiful country. I worked and lived in Botswana (95) . Went t SA many times , miss it .

Didn't realise we had so many fans of SA.
I've lived in Cape Town, in East London (Eastern Cape / Transkei) and have been in Joburg for the past 10 years.
Although CT is truly majestic, for unspoilt natural beauty in a rural setting, you can beat the Eastern Cape.
Maybe it's time to start a pictorial thread of where you have lived.Tony
