Bob, from what I understand, that dark and murky river has a thriving crocodile population. I hope that the baby elephant makes it up the bank by tomorrow.

It has been quite awhile but iirc it was a watering hole and not a river but could easily be wrong on that. It may have been at Edo. The baby's plight got a quick response from the rest of the group. One of the adults got into the water and helped push/lift the baby out much to the relief of the mother and rest of the group. Originally Posted by Thug

There were a number of different elephant groups at the watering hole and all patiently waited their turn at the water never trying to force the group using the hole to leave.
There is much to be admired about elephants social behavior. Well, at least it left a lasting impression on my tiny mind anyway.
