I really enjoyed the race of the F1 boys for sure, but what was also very cool was the Masters race's they had there older F1 cars from the 70's big throaty V12's practically museum pieces getting a proper thrashing. Blowing vintage engines, and ripping off wings. These drivers went for it.
I must say though I'm ready to go back home this morning. A proper shave and certainly my own bed.
Super cool!. Don't know about the 70's but I grew up watching Formula 1 in the 80's so for many years I watched epic battles with Alain Prost, Ayrton Sena, Mario Andretti, Niki Lauda,... just to name a few. I still remember watching James Hunt in the late 70's. Watched all the dreadful accidents and deaths. This was the era before they started taking all the safety measures. Then came Schumacher and that pretty much dominated the game for years to come. Glad you enjoyed your adventure.

Awesome - I still have the BMW and Ferrari team hats from the Montreal Grand Prix - love those Pit Passes.

I still have my Ferrari hat and coat. And let's not forget the female eye candy at those races. At the end of the day you need a bottle of Visine to lubricate your eyes :-) But yeah, between the roaring sound of the engines, smell of burned rubber and awesome racing cars it's definitely worth being there. Since I lived in Belgium at the time I mostly visited the Belgian Grand Prix in Spa and of course Monaco. Good times.
