It is Ivory. Black and black just was not working for me. It needed some contrast.It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

This was from earlier this week when the site was down. A Russian razor "Boctoc 2" of I believe 1969 vintage. As a newbie this razor was very easy to hone, a perfectly true blade. I used Naniwa 1,3,5 and 12 k, and stropped on treated felt then leather. The best part is that it shaves very well. What fun!
