Hello Guys - today's shave:
Soap: Faena Olympian
Brush: Jayaruh #129 (Game Changer knot)
Strop: Rasurpur Paddle Strop
Razor: T.W. Lang "The Gaelic"
AS: Tüff sensitiv Rasierwasser
The "Gaelic" was my first "real" straight razor - a lucky catch on Ebay. Very smooth razor with quite a lot of acoustic feedback. Love the handle. I have to use some caution when I strop it though. The tang has an unusual shape as well and it's prone to slip out of your fingers.
Oh and - Faena is a fantastic soap. Very slick lather, great cushioning. Olympian is a special edition made for the German wet shaving forum "Gut rasiert". It is a pretty light scent, sort of a woody barbershop with some frankincense. Post shave it might not be quite on par with my top performers like CRSW or Mystic Water, but it's still very good.

Today is our Christmas party at work.
The boss gives out all the bonus checks, Christmas bonuses, and our PayCheck's. Then takes us out for drinks, and dinner.
Gonna have to make sure I leave him a nice bill, from the bar.
God knows I deserve it..!!
Cheers gents. [emoji482]Mike

Thanked: 3226Thanks and I don't think the tang and tail are any thinner than the other King Cutters I have. They are thinner than on older Bokers I have iirc. The way the tail widens and flattens out at the end, like a paddle, seems typical of these razors.
Enjoy your office Christmas party.
