It's been a long time since I drew serious blood. Got in a new Brian Brown and took it, or rather it took me, for a spin. This blade’s shorter length got me—good lesson learned about going slower and having 100% focus when using new and very different razors than what one is used to…it was definitely operator error! The razor itself is a beautiful shaver—very nimble!

    Blade: Brian Brown Acid Etch
    Suds: CF Lime
    Brush: Simpsons
    AS: CF Lime
    Finish: Alverez Gomez

Thanks, Jnatcat! It was a good reminder this can be a blood sport at times...all good though!

A nice shave with a sharp, nimble little razor.
Really enjoy the draw on the Tripoli strop, fast as my Kanayama, and a smidge stiffer leather that's easier to hold at the sweet tautness.
    Cheers men.

Thanks! The background is an art glass piece that I bought from the artist in Santa Fe years ago after my daughter and I watched him make it. It's been on display ever since.

    My shave of yesterday.......

It is a travelling shave. Tiny Vintage Finest Badger Bristle-Tite Brush fits in the ventilated silver tube.

Sample tubs stack into the other tube. Tubs contain, GFT Lime Shave Cream, Raw Shea Butter, Hair Gunk.

Razor is Feather DX with a Super Pro Blade.

4711 splash mixes nicely into the raw shea butter face rub.
