Default JimmyHAD's Mystery 18th Century Razor SOTD

JimmyHAD sent this very nice, and superbly honed, 18th Century straight razor up to The Great White North.

Beautiful shave with this 17XX era razor, topped off with some St. James of London shaving cream, and a Shavemac Americana brush....

Will post it in the appropriate sub-forum to garner some information about it.

What a beautiful place to get married Mike. Love the old English feel to the place. Like being inside a castle.

I can tell you this much, aside from it being an incredible shave, I felt embarrassed, shamed, othered and alone when I realized JimmyHAD is one serious playa gangsta on the stones. With the geometry of that blade, amazing and truly pro honing skills.

ScienceGuy sold me an 18th, late 1700's razor, not much different shape than Jimmy's, and I'm almost there on the 1k, 2 weeks later, getting a bevel set.

After a shave with Jimmy's, I just had to go sit in the corner alone for a little while, I put a cone shaped pyramid cap on as well and stared at the wall.....

Well you're not alone my friend, welcome to the corner.

The SRP prototype I got from Jimmy had an amazing edge on it too.
I know you'll get yours just right soon brother

Second shave with the rigarazor 7/8. Very nice and good results. The razor point is not so dangerous if you go with care, but you have to keep an eye on it...
