    Thanks for pointing that out, I just noticed that, and yes, you can see the hamon clearly, that is utterly very cool.....

    Yes, it is a shorty. I bought this from a friend on another forum after he had dropped it and turned it into a shorty. It is Tamahagane steel and is sharp to the near extreme. I got it at a steep discount since he had broken the blade. I think it will take a lot of shaves before I have to touch up the edge.

    Man, I bet your friend cried when he dropped it, of all my razors my Iwasaki Tamahagane is my favourite, there is something magical about them. Im glad you gave her a new home and she'll give you a lifetime of great shaves.

    Yes, he deeply regretted dropping it and it has found a good home.
