Okay, ending this week's SOTD's keepin' it real by testing a couple of recent rescales on an unnamed finisher I'm still testing!
Razors: WM Elliott 63 and WB Celebrated
Brush: Brass designed and turned by my engineer son
Soaps: Noble Otter Et Noir Vanilla uber-lathered with MWF. Don't knock it; it may have been the greatest lather I have ever produced, seriously-like chocolate and peanut butter to make Reeses or something-and I figured NO has enough scent to share with the (comparatively)scentless MWF. I was right.
Libation: Mint Julep with mint fresh-picked from my garden.
Aftershave: Royall Vetiver (after half a second perusing my collection)
I am intrigued by the possibilities of this hone; very sharp and smooth-more later.
Listening to fellow Sandlapper James Brown on my bluetooth-I love summer!
edit: By the way, clearly I lied about keeping these two at Norton 8k level-I knew I could (and still can) get more out of them. Does anyone else on here spend several shaves developing an edge?Last edited by ScoutHikerDad; 06-23-2019 at 01:17 AM.
