13/16ths C.V. Heljestrand Frameback Eskilstuna Sweden with hard rubber or 'ebonite' ~1890
Muhle Silvertip Olivewood Brush
Tabac with Borotalco finish
First time using a frameback, I had high expectations for this shaver and it absolutely did not disappoint.
No stropping as it came finished with a bevel set on 300 and 600 Diamond, then 6k Japanese wet stone, 12k Japanese oil stone, then stropped on linen with paste and finished on leather 50 strokes.
I haven't ever finished a razor this way but it just goes to show that there are many great ways to shave a whisker.
Enjoy your Tuesday boys!

Thanked: 7Great shave this Election Day.
In keeping with my autumn scents, I decided on the “Blue Samhain”.
Baby-Butt Smooth shave. Awesome skin conditioning with Soap Commanders “Integrity” balm (Unscented), and a strong all-day lasting splash. (Used sparingly).
FYI: I never mix scents. Ever!
Gotta say this Worcester Razor and my JR Torrey feel super similar in shaving. (Both have “Worcester Mass.” stamped in the steel). Hmmm...
Outstanding shave.
Straight: Worcester Razor Co.
DE: Carbon Shaving CX-316L (head shave)
Lather: PAA “Blue Samhain”
Balm: Soap Commander “Integrity” (Unscented)
Splash: PAA “ Blue Samhain”
Brush: Wolf Whiskers (Shavemac silvertip)
Bowl: Captains Choice (large)
