Thanked: 7Great shave this Monday afternoon.
I did what I said I was NOT going to do. I purchased another synthetic brush.
Heck, it got good reviews. It was also a bit shorter in length - So it had a bit more backbone, and it would not be a painter.
I later found out that they are made in China...which bothers me, as I do not want to support that country.
But I got it for dirt cheap, so that’s a bit of a consolation for me. And I learned my lesson to ALWAYS check for the country of origin next time. (The name initially sounded Polish or Israeli to me).
Anyhoo...I pulled-out the nearly 200-year old Wade & Butcher, and paired it with B&M’s “The Full Measure of Man”.
A total face and head lather. No bowl today.
Great shave.
The brush is actually super nice, and the lather was exceptional, as always.
Super nice shave again.
Straight: Wade & Butcher (VR stamped)

Lather: B&M “The full Measure of Man”

What a great shave.
Very pleased with the rice serum and of course this version of the shave butter with the amazing vetimore scent makes this feel like a level up moment.
Of course the Stirling Stainless efficiency puts this shave in the Straight Razor BBS Category.
