I recently sent four of my straights to Glen Mercurio for new shoes. They came back and here is the first one.
A 6/8ths near wedge W&B Sheffield
set in Camel Bone Scales @ .08” with an onyx wedge set @ .045 at the end with brass pins and stacked SS outer washers solid brass inner bearing washers.
Honed on Chosera 1-5-10 and a Coticule finish
The brush is a CaYuen Workshop 2-Band Badger 28mm set in ‘Abalone’
A&E skin essentials Cashmere and Velvet Shaving Butter
And topped of with it’s Rice Water Serum which has given probably the best if not tied post shave of anything I have come across.
