Thanked: 7Dang, I swear, I love this scent.
At first I purchased it for an autumn/winter scent. But it has grown on me, “Big Time”.
I love the pumpkin, sandalwood, bourbon, and tobacco scent. One of my top two scents.
And now I love to use it year round.
As for their soaps - they’re “vegan”. And I’d put them up against ANY of the tallow-based soaps on the market.
And their splashes are exceptional.
I’m finding that I don’t need to use a balm when I use their splashes. And having witch hazel, and no alcohol, they’re exceptional. (I HATE alcohol splashes).
With my Ralf Aust, the skin food left ZERO irritation, and a crazy smooth and sticky face.
Just an exceptional shave today.
The only bad part was that I’m down to the bottom of the soap jar.
What do they say?
“The swirl of death”. (Or something like that). Ha ha.
One of the few soaps I’ll replenish over and over again.
Crushing Monday.

Thanked: 7Super shave this morning.
I went with a more “winter-like” scent - “Leviathan”. (See attached photo for scent notes).
And since it kinda smells original, vintage, antique, historical, to me…I went with my Wade & Butcher.
As a side note, I had a little tube of menthol drops. It came with one of my soaps. And honestly, I cannot remember which one, or I’d give them the props.
I have never used menthol drops before, so I added 10 drops after the lather was made in the bowl, and swirled it around with my brush.
I was hoping it would not have a smell, as I “NEVER” mix scents. (Just ghetto-smelling as heck to do so). And to my agreement…no scent.
While lathering it was not “mentholy”. (Is that a word)?
But after I rinsed with water during each pass, it had a super nice cooling effect.
Pretty cool experience for me.
Anyhoo…the shave was pretty awesome.
Love the unique scent, and the head and face shave was cracee sticky and baby butt smooth.
