Most definitely more efficient than the OC and the bar plate for obvious reasons.
I have to say though that now the shave even being completely nick free and the at no point did I feel the need to use more caution, the shave has blade feel and is aggressive.
I wouldn’t say as agressive as the Stirling Stainless by any means but I Think it does surpass the OC on my Blackbird, the jury is still out.
This deserves more shaves with more blades to get a true assessment in my opinion.
But a really great shave with only mild irritation in some sensitive areas.

Awesome shave this morning.
Jumped on my favorite summer scent - “Peach & Cognac”.
The soap is creamy smooth, and super slick. A very warm, soothing, scent.
Used Soap Commanders unscented balm, and did the dastardly with the Koraat straight razor.
Just another sticky smooth head and face shave.
Such a refreshing and elegant scent. And I love the colors and detail of the artwork.
Love the scent so much, that I recently ran out of my last batch, and I just reordered this new jar of soap and the matching splash.
Crazy nice feeling leaving the shaving sink as clean as I feel.
Straight: Koraat 14-2.0 (custom shortened)
DE: Carbon Shaving Cx-316L (head shave)
Lather: A&E “Peach & Cognac”
Balm: Soap Commander “Integrity” (unscented)
Splash: A&E “Peach & Cognac”
Brush: Mühle (synthetic)
Bowl: Captains Choice (large)
