Outstanding shave this Friday morning.
Decided on swapping my straight razor, so I pulled-out my cheapest straight razor - the “Shapleigh”.
It is super light, and a narrow 5/8”, which is not what I usually prefer to shave with.
But I gotta say, it is definitely one of the sharpest straights I own. I liken it to a Feather DE blade. Just a brutal sharp blade, with no smoothness.
So I paired it with one of my slickest soaps, which also happens to be one of my favorite scents - “Samhain”.
Bottom line, an exceptional shave.
Just a crazy smooth, sticky, head and face.
Starting out Friday like it’s supposed to be started.
Straight: Shapleigh - “Diamond Edge”
DE: Carbon Shaving Cx-316L (head shave)
Lather: Southern Witchcrafts “Samhain”
Splash: Southern Witchcrafts “Samhain”
Brush: Wolf Whiskers (Shavemac Silvertip)
Bowl: Captains Choice (large)
