Frameback "Defouges", potential Pouzaux (the brass dot on the back hints to that). An exemple of a trend with scarce examples dating from the early 1800s, it sports both the ability to have a guard ("rabot" or "wood plane" not found with this one) and changeable blades (not found with this one) making these arguably the oldest safety razors with swappable blades.

"Mérite fabricant" a Paris. Probably smithed in Nogent like most of high end late 1800s. The geometry is astounding, with a natural bevel hardly visible. "Mardi" (Tuesday) of an incomplete weekly set (6/7) that just came back from the very capable Thaeris.

Have a nice Tuesday everyone!
