Well, I still don't own a straight razor, but I certanly do enjoy shaving with my shavette and it gives me very smooth shaves, so here it goes:
hot shower
palmolive hair conditioner
DM wild rose facial soap
Tabac original shaving soap
100% pure badger no-name brush
Cerena Solingen shavette with original Cerena blades
ESI 99,9% Pure Aloe Vera Gel
Enliven Light Balsam Aftershave
I can assure you that it was real BBS shave...

Its getting better ad better.
today I took a shower after training (4x1000m running and then some)
stropped before taking the shower
lathered up (vergulde hand)
WTG (crown)
rins+lather
XTG
rinse
sanex ASB
the only spots I dont get smooth are the corners of my mouth and my upperlip.with the shavette that place was also difficult but doable. my chin is getting a lot better with stretching of the skin. I got no irritation, rednes so all in all is was a great shave.
