Thursday test shaves !!!
Staying with the American steel theme but was in the Hone Zone last night so I had some test shaves this morning... I did however finish up with the Cattaraugus Green Lizard out of the Little Valley NY razor center ....
Shave Soap: Honey Bee Spas "Old Spice"
Razors: Cattaraugus Green Lizard, Boker, Wostenholm, Thiers Issard
Brush: Old Spice Genuine Boar Bristle
Strop: Illinois #827
AfterShave: Old Spice "Fresh"

Today's shave confirmed my face much prefer's the larger heavier blades. 7/8 wade&butcher wedge (ebony and bloodwood handled by cannonfodder). Truefitt 1805 shave cream beat to a merengue like froth. that blade just glides over my face so effortlessly. i just must try out more of these large heavy ones.

Had a Great shave, No nicks....No cuts....NO BLOOD
Started with a hot towel wrap
lathered left side of face
WTG
warm water rinse
re-lather
ATG
warm water rinse
re-lather
XTG
Hot water towel wrap
lathered right side of face
WTG
warm water rinse
re-lather
ATG
warm water rinse
re-lather
XTG
Hot water towel wrap
Lathered neck left side then right side
Shaved the same way as face
doing left side then Right side.
Hot water towel wrap
Lathered upper lip & chin
Shaved the sameway as before.
Finished with a rinse warm water & a cold water towel wrap
splashed on some Witch hazel
a nice baby oil facial rub.
Cleaned up Shaving Den AKA Bathroom sink.
