Had a really awesome shave today. 5 days growth. For some reason it feels so good to shave long stubble.
I used Sandalwood soap and built my lather directly on my face.
Then I used my 5/8 full hollow razor that I have forgotten the name of, three passes. SMOOTH I used the lighteset touch I have ever used and it worked flawlessly. (have to work on being light)
Alum (could hardly feel any sting at all)
Captain smith's Bay rum

Unfortunetly I am lacking a digital camera, so this will be strictly a description. Around two hours ago I had a good shave from the DOVO Black Star I've been using for awhile. It shaves quite well, but I'm still having trouble getting it sharp enough for my ultra-tough chin hairs. The cheeks and neck are doing quite well though. Also used was some wonderful Trufitt & Hill "Grafton" shaving cream.
