    Today was one razor that just arrived, one that just left and one that I'm considering parting ways with.
    The soap is a tallow based sample from a member.

    Result: Yeah, this straight shaving thing is really starting to come together for me. Second day in a row, DFS 2 pass WTG/XTG. Maybe just the slightest hint of irritation, but I think the A/S cleared it up. Tomorrow, day 3!! If tomorrow feels rough, I'll take a day or two off, back to the DE.... One shave at a time!

    Out of a little over two years of wetshaving and a little over two months of straight shaving, I had officially THE BEST SHAVE I've EVER had!

    Holy crap, and I thought a Merkur Slant got me BBS! This is above and beyond. I never thought my face could be this smooth.

    The kicker? I lost my strop, so I stropped on newspaper . Hey, it works! It's what I did before I got my first strop, and I guess it's what I'll have to do until I can afford another one

    Edge cooling gel shave cream
    Jet Homme Cologne

    Ran out of soap and won't be home for 2 more weeks so I decided to bit the bullet and use a quick shave cream. The Edge is not bad has aloe so I get the cooling effect and comfort. A 3 pass shave with no problems.
