    T4 Kent
Acqua di Parma Colonia shave cream
    6/8 Puma
    Trumper's Coral Skin Food

Very smooth and comfortable shave today. The Skin Food worked very well with the AdP shaving cream. Eight hours after shaving and my bathroom still smells like heaven!!

    Sunday 4/26

    • Penchetta Penworks Redwood Burl Silvertip
    • Irisch Moos Shave Stick
    • 6/8 W&B Special Razor
    • Thayer's A/F Original
    • Austrian Pitralon Original

Result: First time shaving 2 days in a row with a straight. I think it turned out quite well. Same WTG/XTG, no nicks, burn, nor irritation. Things are looking and feeling good! Not sure about the Austrian Pitralon - does the job well, but I'm not sold on the scent yet, although as it wears it is growing on me...

    Monday 4/27

    • No brush, only hands
    • Gillette Shave Cream in a can
    • Gillette Mach 3
    • W&S Lightly Mentholated balm

Result: Got held over at work this morning (pulling a 24).... I need to make a little kit to keep here at work. Even though I shave so infrequently here, I'd still like to do it right. I wouldn't call it a bad shave...well, yeah, I would. I didn't want to "mash and pull" so I applied the DE/Straight rule of no pressure. I did remove some stubble in one WTG pass, but I'd hardly call it acceptable. It's going to have to be, though, because I won't do any more. I tell you, I felt rather barbaric squirting the cream into my hand and then rubbing it all over my face.... The brush really adds a whole other level to this shaving thing...
