Since I'm packing, don't have the time nor the space to take proper photos, but here's the list...
    1) Wash the face
    2) Regular hair conditioner and water while stropping up (Heirloom)
    3) QED SRP soap
    4) Edwin Jagger BB brush
    5) First pass with the Chandler 9/8 French Point custom
    6) Second pass with the 9/16 Genco Grant
    7) Final cleanup pass with the Gillette Tech DE (not shaving for 2 days and about to see my fiance after a couple of months of being away from her, so I wanted to have as little stubble as possible)
    8) Rinse with cold water
    9) Pinaud Clubman as (*)
    10) Proraso pre/after shave for that minty blast and a bit of moisture

(*) I promised a review elsewhere so here it goes. I'm usually an Old Spice user, but when I saw it at a local barber shop, I had to give it a shot. After the initial burn, rubbing it into the skin felt great, so I had to give it another dose (which I never do). The scent is strong and definitely old-school. I love it. For a couple of extra bucks you get double the amount of a slightly better product in comparison to Old Spice. A clear winner in my books.

Amen! My grandfather used to use Clubman, rest in peace, and I used to put it on as a kid to smell like him. When I saw it at the local drug store I had to pick it up and now I'm really following in the footsteps of a great man.

    Cheers!

    Wednesday 5/20

    • Ever Ready 100T boar
    • Arko Stick
    • 11/16 W&B Special Razor
    • Thayer's A/F Original
    • Speick splash

Result: Fantastic shave today. I got the Speick sample Monday, and got the Arko Stick yesterday. So I used them both today. They actually work well together in the scent department. A great shave today, close, comfortable, and smooth.

    Default Wednesday Night

    Kent BK4
    Taylor's Rose shaving cream
    Starworks Fama 5/8
    Thayer's Original witch hazel
    Pinaud Clubman
    Hammam Bouquet

Okay, three days in a row, three small slices on the same cheek on the same pass. Obviously there is something that I need to work on. I think it's a lack of skin stretching and taking things too fast. There is a bit of a learning curve here.
