Clubman has a great old-time smell. But wow, you really feel the burn when the shave is a bit too close.

That's a sweet pipe, D; you should throw a pick into the IXL club if you haven't yet.

The Heljestrand straights are supreme shavers. Never shaved with a swedish straight that was'nt good though. Hard to say what they're worth. There is a swedish shop that sells new old stock Heljestrands No 29 for about 200 USD. Rakkniv Heljestrand No 29 hvit Skaft While I gave about 15 USD for my NOS No.29

    THURSDAY

    Futur/Feather
    1939 Schick Injector/CVS Blade
    TSD Bay Rum Soap
    Smogue 23mm Silvertip
Fruit Of The Earth Aloe Gel
    Pinaud Clubman Bay Rum

First pass with the Futur and a new Feather. Second and third pass with the Schick and a CVS blade that previously did about 8-9 shaves. The blade never quits. Excellent

    Thursday

    Progress w/Feather
    Shavemac Horn D01
    Moss Scuttle
    Penhaligon's Endymion S/C
    Old Spice A/S

Pulled out this sample of Endymion shave cream and it looked so runny I thought, this is going to make a horrible lather and I was already thinking of a backup. To my surprise it mixed into a very slick, creamy lather and produced very nice results! A great shave and finished off with my vintage Old Spice. Ahhh!

    Have a great day!
