Just out of curiosity, what did your wife say when she saw you sprinkling rose petals on your shaving soap? My wife I suspect is jealous of my razors, so I'm wondering about the impact of such romantic staging.

Ahhhhh finally get to take this one out for a run...

Kept it rather simple this morning, as I wanted to see what the razor could do.....

the razor: Mastro Livi Spanish point re-scaled in Pearl Acrylics
the lather: SRD Frankincense shave soap
the brush: Shave Mac 28mm Silvertip
the strop: SRD Premium I 25/50 laps 1st pass 10 laps 2nd pass
the shave: WTG pass re-lather XTG/ATG combo pass
the aftershave: Mennen Skin Bracer

The razor can shave, and shave rather well.......

What you think I take SOTD pics with an audience or something?

ahhhhhh. I've never done these pics because my wife is better with computers than I am, and she'll figure out I'm downloading pictures of my beloved razors to the internet, and before you know it, I'll be paying alimony and child support.

no, you underestimate the spousal mind (no offense intended to any spouses). she would sue for custody of half of each razor, and make me break each of them from the scales. And I don't want to think about the hones and the strops (I'd get the slate from the coticule and ......)

Second run with the "White Pearl"

I took the razor to the pasted strops this morning ending with some CeOx I wanted to see if there was a difference since when I honed this last year I wasn't using it... maybe a touch smoother...
