TGQ soap sample #6 - new, unnamed and experimental - lather dried out pretty quick but think that was my fault - still getting used to getting a proper lather from TGQ.

    Trumpers Limes skin food
    crabtree & evelynne soap
    Osgar 5/8 razor

Lovely relaxed shave this afternoon, and realised that a slight alteration to my stropping over the past few shaves is really making a big difference to the smoothness of the shave. I think I wasn't turning the razor quite far enough over onto one side, and there was a different sound on the back stroke. Since changing that and getting a more even sound I seem to be getting better shaves. Perhaps I wasn't quite getting the edge of the blade onto the leather properly and was really just stopping the back of the blade.
