How do you find Olivia's SS ? Have you tried her WM shave soaps or creams? I have her creams and was wondering if her soaps are as good as her creams as far as the post-shave properties are concerned.

Prep: HOT shower.. and a Gin & Tonic
Brush: Colonel Conk - Travel Brush
Soap: Truefitt & Hill - West Indian Limes
Razor: Yahatamaru - Japanese Straight Razor
AS: Lucky Tiger - After Shave and Face Tonic

I am in LOVE with this japanese straight razor. I find it so much easier to use than any of the 17 western style SR's I have so far. (All big brand names.) Most people seem to not like that it is so short. It is the very reason that I love it. So much easier to use. I can shave in any direction in any area of my face.. and it all ends up as smooth as a babys butt. I have yet to manage this with any of my western style straight razor. Until I bought this razor I always struggled to find the correct angle to get to all the difficult spots when going ATG.. I always ended up with one or two spots on my jaw/neckline that I found impossible to shave smooth.

I really need to get my hands on one of those Iwasaki razors.

Great shave, that has me still feeling smooth. I have an order of the Prairie Creations on the way, definitely excited to try my first tallow soap!
