This was a very awesome save! Pre-shave prep: Hot shower, with C-M #6 bath soap. Oil: Glycerin. Strops: Illinois 827; Dovo 3" finish leather. 35 passes linen, 50 passes leather, 35 passes finish leather. S/S: First time to use Mitchell's Wool Fat, very awesome soap, more like a uber-lather. Brush: C-M Super Silver Tip. Razor: Dovo Bergischer Lowe 5/8. A/S balm C-M #6. EDC: TOBS Mr. Taylor's. BBS shave. I still can't believe how well the MWF soap worked.

Razor: T. Read & Co. Cutlery Dublin 5/8
Brush: Rudy Vey Ivory Two Band
Soap: Penhaligon's English Fern
Astringent: alum block+Thayer's Witch Hazel
AS: Aveda
Result: BBS! This arrived in the mail today from the UK, whipped out the Maas and Dremel, some neatsfoot for the scales, and worked it on the hones. I was rewarded with a very interesting and near flawless shave. Wish I could show a before pic, I'm not good at taking those. No musical accompaniment, just lots of steam and tea tree oil. Get it, tea tree, t read... hehe
