Thanked: 137Today's shave:
Brush: Semogue 2015
Soap: TGQ Autumn Spice
Razor: EJ 89 DE with Astra Blade (2nd shave on this side of the blade)
Post-shave: Cold splash, styptic to close off the tiny weeper on my chin
Shave: Amazing! First time I've managed to get a decent lather from the TGQ soaps - not as thick or foamy as I like, and required two loadings to get enough soap, but it's redeemed my faith in the TGQ soaps. I'm now thinking it's the size of the puck (1oz) I'm using that's causing the issue, rather than the soap itself.

Razor: Boker Keen Kutter
Brush: Simpson c-3 bb
Lather: C.O. Bigelow
Aftershave: Blue Floid
Kettle water(just before boiling) in my scuttle and I let it sit for 15 mins, otherwise the scuttle is too hot for keeping a lather. I normally heat scuttle with hot tap water fill just before my shower than dump water and refill with hot tap water again after my shower; but, tonight was a pamper shave night. Two hot towels: one before shave and one after first pass. Rolling the towels before running hot tap water reduces the hot water exposure to thy digits when wringing out the water from the towel. A great shave tonight.
